The Chinese Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Hua Chunying (pictured) stated on Monday that Beijing will take action to address the United States bill that features increased funding for Taiwan in order to protect its national security.

Speaking at a press conference, Hua called on the US not to implement what she described as the bill's negative articles against China. She also underscored that Beijing rejects the document.

Earlier, China warned the US to "honor its pledge against supporting Taiwan's independence and cease all forms of military assistance to the island."
