US plans scenarios to accuse Russia of WMD use in Ukraine - MoD

The Russian Ministry of Defence warned on Saturday that the United States is allegedly planning three possible scenarios to accuse the Russian Federation of using "chemical, biological, or tactical nuclear weapons" in Ukraine.

According to the ministry, the first scenario is a "staged incident under a false flag," which is the most likely. The second involves a "maximum covert use of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in small volumes." And the third one is the "overt use of WMD in a combat area."

"This plan has already been developed and is a reaction to Russia's success in the special military operation," the MoD said.
