Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated on Friday that the relationship between The US and Russia is for the two nations to address.

This came as a response to a question about the recent statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who said that US President-elect Donald Trump's opinion on resolving the war in Ukraine "deserves attention" and expressed willingness to establish communication with him. Mao also reaffirmed China's support for every effort that would result in a political resolution to the conflict.
