Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Friday during a press conference that the United States is the country that conducts the most bio-military activities in the world.

"The United States often fabricates reports of so-called threats for geopolitical purposes in order to contain and suppress other countries, to protect its hegemonic interests," the spokesperson shared.

The comments come after the release of Washington's bio-defense review, which labeled China as the key long-term threat.
