China will work with Russia to "uphold the outcomes of the victory in World War II," Beijing's embassy in Russia said on Monday, adding that the "history cannot be denied."
The mission issued a statement, adding that China will strive with Russia and other countries to "practice true multilateralism, and promote world peace."
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky previously accused Russia of committing war crimes, describing the invasion of Ukraine as "a bloody reenactment of nazism."
