Stock equities across the Asia Pacific region were mixed during Tuesday's afternoon session, as investors' confidence wavered between the positive news of Ethereum ETF approval in the United States and growing concerns over the possibility of a second-term presidency for Donald Trump, which seemed to dampen sentiment in China.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite dropped 0.59% and the Shenzhen Composite plunged 1.36%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng lost 0.16%. Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 0.17% and South Korea's Kospi gained 0.68%. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 added 0.57%. The dollar declined 0.44% against the Japanese yen, selling at 156.3695 at 7:21 am CET.
