Coinbase partners with Aston Martin F1 in crypto deal

COINBASE

Coinbase announced on Friday a multi-year global partnership with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team, making the crypto exchange its exclusive crypto partner.

The deal, funded entirely in USDC stablecoin, aims to integrate blockchain technology into motorsport while expanding Coinbase's global presence.

"As part of our global brand partnership, you'll find Coinbase branding on the halo and rear-wing end plate of AMR25 vehicles, as well as on drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll's racing suits," Coinbase said in a statement. The company also plans to collaborate with the team on blockchain-based initiatives throughout the Formula One season.
