Coinbase Global Inc. announced on Wednesday that it will gradually roll out spot markets for eligible users outside of the United States.
The Coinbase International Exchange will be expanded first on December 14 by "listing BTC-USDC and ETH-USDC pairs via API access for non-US institutional clients only" while "retail users, additional assets, and features that enable new trading strategies and enhance capital efficiency" are expected to be added later.
Coinbase International Exchange was launched in May 2023 and the new features will "redefine the standards of the industry while staying true to our roots: trust, safety, and ease of use," the company claimed.
