Coinbase Global Inc. announced in a statement on Tuesday that its customers in Canada can now use PayPal to buy and sell cryptocurrencies.
"This integration streamlines access to Coinbase Canada's full suite of offerings, from simple and advanced trading to staking. Crypto is the future of money. Expanding access through trusted tools like PayPal helps reduce friction, lower fees, and bring more Canadians confidently into the cryptoeconomy," the business commented.
Coinbase noted that across Canada, there are almost 10 million active PayPal accounts.
