Consumer confidence in the Eurozone will rise in May as the indicator index is projected to go from April's negative 16.7 and land at negative 15.2, the European Commission said in its preliminary report published on Tuesday.
In the European Union, the indicator will go up by 1.4 percentage points month-on-month to negative 14.5. "Despite the partial recovery, consumer confidence remains markedly below its long-term average," the report added.
