Costco Wholesale Corp. revealed on Thursday that its net sales in the fourth quarter of its fiscal 2024 stood at $78.2 billion, improving by 1% compared to the same quarter from the previous year.
The warehouse store company's total revenue was $79.7 billion during the fourth trimester, gaining 1% year over year, but falling short of analysts' expectations. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) stood at $5.29, increasing by 9% compared to the same period of its fiscal 2023. Net income advanced by 9% on an annual basis to stand at $2.35 billion.
For the entire fiscal year, Costco reached $249.6 billion in net sales, going up by 5% year on year. The company's stocks fell by 0.82% in the after-hours trading after the report was published.
