Credit Agricole S.A. announced on Wednesday that its revenue in the first quarter of fiscal 2025 increased by 6.6% compared to the same period a year ago to reach €7.2 billion.
The bank said that its net income Group share in the reported quarter stood at €1.8 billion, dropping 4.2% year-over-year. Meanwhile, its earnings per share (EPS) surged 11.4% compared to the the same time period a year before to land at €0.56.
"The Group has published high-level results this quarter, driven by strong revenue growth, despite exceptional taxation. Credit Agricole S.A. posted record revenues this quarter and high profitability," CEO Philippe Brassac said.
