Deputy of Russia's State Duma, Oleg Morozov, in an interview with RIA Novosti on Saturday denounced the attack on a bridge connecting the Crimean peninsula with Russia, describing the incident as a "declaration of war without rules."
"An undisguised terrorist war is being waged against us. Moreover, the long-announced terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge is no longer just a challenge, it is a declaration of war without rules," he was quoted as saying, which indicates that Moscow sees the move as an escalation on Kiev's side.
The bridge was targeted with a car bomb early on Saturday and according to the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee, it partially collapsed killing at least three.
