Crude oil stockpiles in the United States decreased by 815,000 barrels in the week ending December 10, private data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) reportedly showed on Tuesday.
Reserves in Cushing, Oklahoma, allegedly added 2.26 million barrels. Gasoline stockpiles went up by 426,000 barrels, while distillate inventories slid 1.02 million barrels, according to the reported data.
Brent for February 2022 deliveries surrendered 1.29% to go for $73.36 per barrel at 4:25 pm ET, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for settlements in January was 1.08% in the red, selling for $70.4 per barrel at the same time.
