The prices of cryptocurrencies continued to rise overnight on Wednesday, with the price of Ethereum surging over 12% to break the $1,600 mark.
The upward trend was sparked by the US Federal Reserve's move on rates. The financial institution announced on Wednesday it opted for another 75 basis points hike.
Bitcoin went up by 7.69% at 7:27 am ET, selling for $22,889.162, as Ether added 12.38% and went for $1,628.8840 a minute later.
