Cryptocurrencies traded higher on Friday with Bitcoin nearing $22,000 and reaching the highest level since mid-September.
The recent surge in the prices of digital assets comes amid signals inflation is starting to slow down which sparked hopes the United States Federal Reserve could stop its aggressive rate hikes.
Bitcoin climbed 3.92% to sell for $21,907 at 3:24 pm ET and Ether gained 4.90% to go for $1,627.62 at 3:26 pm ET. Since the start of the year, Bitcoin soared 32%.
