The world's leading cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ether, rose on Monday by more than 3%, with Bitcoin surpassing the 30,000 level amid persistent widespread concern over the most recent falls in its value.
Bitcoin has been hampered in recent months by the Federal Reserve and other central banks' turn toward rate hikes amid rising inflation. The collapse of Terra's ecosystem has also hurt sentiment in digital assets.
Bitcoin surged 3.00% at 1:29 am ET, selling for $30,359, while Ether rose 3.60% to go for $1,876.23 at the same time.
