The Czech Republic asked for "solidarity" from the European Union on Tuesday in the form of expelling Russian diplomats from its territories following a similar move from Prague.
"We really appreciate the voice of the UK and we are hearing similar support from the European Union and the United States. We would obviously ask for solidarity and I have asked my colleagues also to consider expelling other Russian officials that operate on their territory, but that's obviously a decision to be made by those individual countries," acting Czech Foreign Minister Jan Hamacek said.
Earlier this week, the European Commission announced its support for the decision by Czechia to expel 18 Russian diplomats suspected of working as intelligence officers for the Kremlin.
