The DAX and the Euro Stoxx 50 turned to losses after staring Friday's trading session flat while the FTSE 100 and the CAC 40 deepend theirs amid the newest developments in the conflict in Ukraine. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin remarked the question of the Togliatti–Odessa pipeline and its future operations will be taken into consideration in the negotiations over extending the Black Sea Grain Inititative (BSGI). Meanwhile, Ukraine warned that the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) could threaten the safety of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).
The DAX decreased by 0.34% at 12:44 pm CET. At the same time, the Euro Stoxx 50 declined by 0.32%. The FTSE 100 went down by 0.40%. The CAC 40 fell by 0.35%.
The euro lost 0.21% to the dollar at 12:45 am CET to sell for $1.07600. A minute later, the pound sterling dropped by 0.07% against the greenback to go for $1.25504.
