In another update about the ongoing protest throughout France, the country's Minister of the Interior Gerald Darmanin revealed that at least 471 arrests have been made in the night between June 30 and July 1.

Ninety-five arrests took place in Marseille and 58 people were arrested in Lyon, with at least 12 individuals reported injured.

According to local media reports, the two cities have seen more violent protests than Paris overnight.
