David Moyes (pictured) was appointed Everton manager for the second time, agreeing to a two-and-a-half-year contract. Moyes, who first managed the club from 2002 to 2013, returns to Goodison Park after more than a decade away.
The 61-year-old will replace Sean Dyche, who was dismissed after Everton’s difficult start to the season. With only three wins from 19 matches, the Toffees are 16th in the Premier League, just one point clear of relegation.
