Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was involved in a car accident but did not suffer any injuries, his spokesperson Bryan Griffin confirmed to Fox News on Tuesday.
"This morning, the governor was in a car accident while traveling to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He and his team are uninjured," Griffin's written statement sent to Fox News read. "We appreciate the prayers and well wishes of the nation for his continued protection while on the campaign trail."
The governor's campaign did not release any further information on the cause of the accident and potential material damage.
