At least nine people were killed in a Russian overnight attack on Ukraine's capital Kiev, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in an update on Thursday.
"Russia launched a massive combined attack on Kyiv. According to preliminary data, 9 people were killed, 63 were injured, and 42 were hospitalized, including 6 children," the emergency service noted.
Kiev was attacked by missiles and drones, and fires broke out in several districts of the capital city, according to Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
