BAHA BREAKING NEWS

Italian iPhone users got a notice on Wednesday on Apple Inc.'s App Store that Chinese AI firm DeepSeek's application is "currently not available in the country or area [they] are in." The same is being reported on the Google Play Store.

Earlier, Italy's Data Protection Authority (DPA) sent a request to DeepSeek to provide it with information about which personal data is being stored on its app, from which sources, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and whether it is stored on servers located in China.

The DPA gave DeepSeek 20 days to deliver the information requested.
