DirecTV reaches deal to bring back Disney channels

DirecTV and the Walt Disney Company announced on Saturday that they reached a deal in principle to reinstate Disney channels, including ESPN, to the pay-tv provider's service.

The channels have been "immediately" restored to DirecTV satellite, streaming, and U-Verse customers.

Disney blocked its channels on DirecTV on September 1 after a dispute over terms on fees and bundle structures.
