Disney, Fox, WBD to reportedly create streaming platform

Fox Corporation, Walt Disney Company's ESPN and Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. are supposedly going to undertake a joint venture aimed at creating a streaming platform that will share sports assets, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

This stand-alone platform will be available to Hulu, ESPN+ and HBO Max subscribers, with each of the companies owning one-third of the platform, the news agency reported.

The platform that has yet to be named is "essentialy a sport-streaming bundle," according to the news agency.
