DoorDash Inc. announced on Wednesday that its second-quarter earnings report revenue increased by 25% year-over-year and reached $3.3 billion. In the second quarter, earnings per share amounted to $0.67, recovering from a loss per share of $0.38, registered in the same period in 2024. Meanwhile, net income came in at $285 million, up from a net loss of $157 million the previous year. Total orders rose by 20% on a yearly basis to 761 million.
The delivery firm projected an adjusted EBITDA between $680 million and $780 million in the third quarter, higher than the company's estimate for the second quarter.
DoorDash's stock added 4.71% in after-hours trading following the company's earnings announcement, selling at $270.11.
