Major Wall Street stocks climbed further on Friday following the release of stronger-than-expected nonfarm payrolls data for May just ahead of the opening bell. The previous day was also marked by Senate following the House in voting in favor of suspending the debt limit, sending the bill to President Joe Biden.
The Dow Jones surged 1.68% or 555 points at 11:18 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 jumped 0.76% or 110 points and the S&P 500 gained 1.31%. Lululemon's stock jumped about 13% after upbeat earnings results. The euro turned to losses against the dollar, dropping by 0.33% to 1.07268 a minute later.
