Dow sinks 350 pts in premarket after personal spending report

Major stock markets in the United States extended losses in the premarket session on Friday following the release of the latest report on consumer spending which showed that the figure rose by 1.8% in January compared to the previous month.

The Dow Jones sank 1.09% or 360 points at 8:38 am ET, as the Nasdaq 100 lost 1.71% and the S&P 500 dropped 1.30% at the same time.

The euro traded 0.51% lower against the dollar to sell for 1.05497 at 8:39 am ET.
