Markets on Wall Street extended gains on Thursday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average soaring more than 300 points as investors continued to focus on the developments regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The Dow Jones rallied 0.89% or 306 points at 1:52 pm ET with Dow Inc, up 4.85%, leading the gains.
The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.77% at 2:01 pm ET. The best performer was CrowdStrike, which surged 7.36% at 2:03 pm ET.
The S&P 500 climbed 0.88% at 2:02 pm ET. The energy sector pulled the index up as Devon Energy and Occidental both soared more than 7%.
