A fire broke out due to the fall of debris from a downed Ukrainian drone in the Russian city of Toropets, located in the Tver region, TASS reported on Wednesday.
"As a result of the fall of the wreckage of the UAV during the repulsion of the attack by air defense forces (air defense), a fire broke out, all emergency services, the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Tver region went to the scene," the region's governor, Igor Rudenya, was quoted as having said.
The situation is under control, according to the report which provided no further details.
