Polish President Andrzej Duda advised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday to maintain a "calm" and "constructive" approach in his cooperation with United States President Donald Trump, emphasizing that Washington's support is essential for achieving lasting peace.
"I trust that goodwill and honesty form the foundation of the U.S. negotiation strategy. I have no doubt that President Trump is guided by a deep sense of responsibility for global stability and peace," Duda said in a statement following his telephone conversation with Zelensky.
The Ukrainian president noted that his meeting with US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, "restores hope" to resolving the ongoing war in his country.
