Darya Dugina, daughter of a prominent nationalist ideologist and Russian President Vladimir Putin's ally Alexander Dugin was praised as a Russian hero during her funeral service in Moscow on Tuesday.
"If her tragic death has touched someone, she would have asked them to defend sacred Orthodoxy, the people, and the Fatherland," Dugin said at her burial. Another prominent nationalist hailed her as a hero who "died for Russia."
Darya Dugina was killed on Sunday after her car exploded on the outskirts of Moscow. Her alleged assassin, Ukrainian citizen Natalia Vovk reportedly fled to Estonia after the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) accused Ukrainian special services of the murder.
