E.ON SE revealed Wednesday that its sales for its fiscal 2024 came in at €80.1 billion, dropping by 14% year-on-year. The figure missed analysts' expectations.
The German electric utility company's adjusted net income stood at €2.8 billion, marking a decline of 7% on an annual basis, while its adjusted EBITDA fell by 3% compared to last year's figure and landed at €9.0 billion. For the full-year 2025 guidance, the firm's EBITDA is projected to be between €9.6 and €9.8 billion, jumping 7% from 2024.
"This was another successful year for E.ON ... We set a new benchmark by raising our capex to 7.5 billion in 2024-one billion more than in 2023 … In 2024, we added around half a million connections to our distribution grids," E.ON's Chief Financial Officer Nadia Jakobi said.
