Bank of Spain Governor Pablo Hernandez de Cos said on Tuesday that core inflation in Europe is set to remain "very high" until the end of the year.
De Cos stressed that upside risks to EUrozone's inflation outlook have "intensified," particularly in the short-term. "The ECB stands ready to adjust all instruments to ensure inflation stabilizes at 2% medium-term target," he insisted.
The central banker also noted inflation should return to ECB's target in the long run.
