Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday in a video address that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to "manipulate" United States President Donald Trump when it comes to the war in Ukraine.
"Putin is ready to continue the war. He wants to manipulate Trump's desire to achieve peace. I am sure that no more Russian manipulations will succeed," Zelensky underlined. Recently Trump mentioned that he would like to meet with Putin soon and discuss the situation. Meanwhile, Putin reiterated that Moscow was open to negotiating, adding that the crisis in Ukraine never would've happened if the US election in 2020 wasn't "stolen."
Talking about Russia's continuous use of Shahed drones, the head of Ukraine reiterated that supplies of any components "for terror to Russia must be blocked."
