Working natural gas in storage across the United States increased by 9 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ending March 14 compared to the week prior to land at Bcf, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) revealed in its report published on Thursday.
At the same time, stocks fell by 624 Bcf compared to the same period last year and stood 190 Bcf lower than the 5-year average of 1,897 Bcf. The total working gas storage remains within the five-year average.
