The Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lee Zeldin, announced Thursday he revoked the $2 billion grant given by the administration of former President Joe Biden to a non-governmental organization (NGO) linked to politician and activist Stacey Abrams.

"The DOJ/FBI are investigating, and the money has been frozen. It is insane that the Biden Admin would give $2B to an organization that previously only received $100!" Zeldin wrote on X.

His decision came shortly after President Donald Trump questioned the grant in a post on TruthSocial and also requested the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to investigate the $8 million given by the "government" to Politico magazine.
