The document the House Oversight Committee got from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and examined today, titled FD-1023, does not directly show United States President Joe Biden received any payments while he was vice president, Fox News reported on Thursday.
Still, following a classified reading, the Republican members of the committee kept insisting Biden received bribery. House Representative from Georgia's 14th district Marjorie Taylor Greene noted that the main informant in the case is "FBI-paid" and generally seen as "credible" but added that "they are not a credible or a useful informant if the FBI hides this information and doesn't bring it out for investigation and prosecution."
Meanwhile, the Democrats dismissed the GOP's claims, with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries describing the Oversight Committee as "a complete and total embarrassment right now." The document in question the aforementioned informant provided the FBI with allegedly shows Biden received $5 million as bribery while he was vice president. Today's reading was a part of the investigation into the Biden's family reported suspicious foreign business practices.
