Earnings preview: Alphabet, Tesla, Intel and more

The upcoming week will be packed with earnings, with some of the world's most prominent companies set to release their financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2025.

Google's parent company, Alphabet, will release its first-quarter earnings report on Thursday. Wall Street analysts estimate that the company will report earnings of $2.01 per share and revenue of $75.5 billion, an increase of 11.8% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Another tech giant, Intel, is also set to publish its earnings report on the same day. The market expects Intel's revenue to slump 3.2% to around $12.3 billion.

Tesla Inc. will be posting its financial performance on Tuesday, with analysts seeing the company's income at $21.1 billion. Boeing will publish its earnings on the following day. The stuttering giant could report $1.55 loss per share, but revenues are expected to rise 15.7% year-over-year to $19.1 billion, according to expert estimates.

Meanwhile, Lockheed Martin will report its results on Tuesday as well, with IBM following up the day after. Other companies releasing their results this week include Renault, Nestle, BNP Paribas, and Sanofi, among others.
