The week ahead will not see as many earnings reports as some others have recently but will get a glimpse of how different industry sectors perform. Those fields include technology, retail, and air traffic from all corners of the planet.
The first major report will come in on Tuesday with investors about to observe how Bayer AG did in the past fiscal quarter. Another company based in Germany that will provide information on its latest financial dealings is Lufthansa; its documents will see the light of day on Friday. China's e-commerce giant JD.com and electric vehicle (EV) maker NIO Inc., listed in both the United States and Hong Kong, will unveil their newest results on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
In the US, investors will keep an eye on department store chain Target Corporation, retail leader Costco Wholesale Corporation, and notably, chipmaker Broadcom Inc.
