A fuel and energy facility caught fire on Saturday after a Ukranian drone attack on Russia's Smolensk region, Governor Vasily Anokhin wrote on his telegram account.
Although Russia's air defense systems managed to intercept the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the debris that fell on the ground caused a fire in the fuel and energy facility, the governor specified, adding that emergency services are currently trying to put out the flames.
Presently, there is no information about any potential victims.
