England came out on top in Group C after tying 0-0 with Slovenia on Tuesday, in an uneventfully goalless match.
England came close to scoring twice in the first half but lacked follow-through, with the second half offering even less in terms of attacking action. It seems that the real celebration lies with the Slovenian team, as the country went through to the final 16 as one of the best third-placed finishers.
"That was the aim before the start of the tournament. Come top of the group and control our destiny. I thought we played a lot better than the other games. We couldn't just find that finish but we look forward to the next one," England captain Harry Kane said speaking to ITV.
