Envoy: Moscow discussing hostage releases with Hamas

Russia's Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov told Izvestia in an interview on Friday that Moscow has been holding discussions with Hamas to free hostages.

"Unfortunately, at least two Russian citizens who also have Israeli citizenship are also being held hostage. We assume that there may be more of them ... not even the Israeli side has all the data," Viktorov shared.

The envoy stated that so far, 20 Russian citizens have been killed in Hamas' attacks.
