Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday said the Black Sea Grain Initiative should not be limited by a time frame, the Hurriyet newspaper reported.
According to the media outlet, the leader said the deal should be valid as long as possible, noting that Ankara will make sure to act as an intermediary between Moscow and Kiev.
Back in October, Russia briefly suspended its participation in the deal over Ukraine and Britain allegedly firing at its ships in the grain corridor's safe zone. The July agreement inked between Ukraine and Russia was backed by Turkey and the United Nations in order to facilitate food exports.
