Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin on Sunday asserted that the United States, having lost its economic leadership, relies heavily on the American dollar as its last tool of global influence. Despite alleged attempts to regain supremacy through various means, including armed conflicts and sanctions, US President Joe Biden's actions are, according to Volodin, inadvertently diminishing this advantage.

He highlighted a growing trend of countries actively moving away from the dollar as a world reserve currency, which negatively impacts the US's influence.
