Ericsson announced on Tuesday it agreed to collaborate with Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) to provide companies with cloud-like agility, services, and scalability.
The two companies will deploy the Ericsson Wallet Platform, which has over 400 million registered mobile wallets, with HPE's hybrid cloud GreenLake. "Our collaboration with HPE not only strengthens our market position but also opens doors for enterprises, allowing them to efficiently leverage our cutting-edge financial services. By integrating the Ericsson Wallet Platform to be delivered with HPE GreenLake, we aim to deliver unparalleled speed, scalability, and security for financial services," Ericsson's head of Mobile Financial Sevices, Michael Wallis-Brown, stated.
Ericsson noted the term of the partnership will be announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona taking place this week.
