The Eurozone recorded a trade surplus in goods of €36.8 billion in March, up from a €24 billion surplus in February, Eurostat said in a report on Friday. Meanwhile, the European Union saw a trade surplus of €35.3 billion, compared to €22.3 billion a year ago.
Exports from the euro area rose 13.6% on a yearly basis to €279.8 billion, while imports grew by 8.8% annually, reaching €243.0 billion.
For the EU in March, exports came to €254.8 billion, adding 15.2% from 2024, while imports jumped by 10.4% to €219.5 billion.
