Euro reaches 15-year high against yen

The euro jumped against the yen on Monday to reach the highest level since 2008.

The euro rallied 0.76% compared to the Japanese currency to sell for 159.2585 at 6:18 pm CET. The euro has now surged moe than 13% against the yen since the start of the year.

The dollar also recorded gains against the yen, adding 0.55% to go for 146.1960 at 6:20 pm CET.
