Major European markets closed Tuesday's session in the green following the announcement of a partial ceasefire in the Ukraine war, as well as details on the Black Sea agreement going forward. Germany's business climate and Spain's producer prices reports were also released during the day.
The DAX rose 1.09% at the close, and the Euro Stoxx 50 gained 1.12%. Bayer was the top performer in both indexes, increasing 5.18%. The CAC 40 ended with a 1.11% gain, as Airbus traded 3.05% above the line. The FTSE 100 added 0.44%, with Anglo American jumping 3.82%.
The euro traded flat against the dollar at 5:36 pm CET, going for 1.08096. Simultaneously, the pound added 0.25% against the greenback, going for 1.29559.
